白糖糕原來是意外研發出來?

Was White Sugar Cake Originally an Accidental Creation?

White Sugar Cake was first created by a vendor in Lunjiao (formerly known as Lunjiao) during the Ming Dynasty. It is said that the vendor accidentally dropped the flour while steaming his sponge cake, but the resulting product turned out to be a hit with everyone who tried it, thanks to its smooth texture. Later, the vendor began using white sugar to make the cake, resulting in a crystal-clear white color that impressed customers. They began calling it "Lunjiao Cake," which later became known as "White Sugar Cake."
